It is time to show off your colors. Submit your best photo or video of the Qatar Balloon Festival 2nd Edition for some valued prizes!
We’ll take your photo submissions from Saturday, December 11 through Friday, December 17, 2021. Check out the rules below before you enter.
2. Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the Qatar Balloon Festival (the “Contest”) is open to all guests & residents of Qatar who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. All photos or videos must be the sole, original work of the entrant. Please note that you need to attach a WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive link in the online submission form from which we can download your photos or videos.
3. How To Enter. The Contest will begin at 4:00 pm on December 11, 2021, and end at 9:59 p.m on December 17, 2021 (the “Contest Period”). You may enter your photo or video online completing an official entry form with your contact information (name, email address, and phone number) and any other required information, and following all posted instructions to upload a photo or video you have taken of a hot air balloon(s).
Qatar Balloon Festival will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries, Entries that do not comply with the provisions of these Official Rules will be disqualified. All entries become property of Qatar Balloon Festival. Contestants acknowledge and agree that Qatar Balloon Festival shall have the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote, create a sound recording of, broadcast, or otherwise display or use entries in any way it sees fit without limitation or compensation to entrants. Qatar Balloon Festival further reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is alleged to infringe on any third-party’s intellectual property rights, or that Qatar Balloon Festival in its sole discretion, deems obscene, offensive or otherwise inappropriate for viewing by a general audience.
4. Winner Selection & Anonsment. The best photo and video work will be selected by our team within 24 hours after the end of the competition. Photos and videos of the winners will be published on the festival’s official Instagram page. The names of the winners will also be announced on the festival stage on the evening of December 18, 2021.
5. Prizes.
Photo Contest
The winner will receive One (1) iPhone 13.
Video Contest
The winner will receive One (1) iPhone 13 Pro Max.
6. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winners will be notified on or about December 18, 2021, at the telephone number or email address provided on the winner’s entry form. Qatar Balloon Festival will call during regular business hours at number provided on entry form and will leave no messages. Failure to reach winner by phone after three (3) attempts, return of email notification as undeliverable, or failure of winner to respond to email notification may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
7. Copyright. By entering the Contest, each contestant grants to Qatar Balloon Festival an exclusive, royalty-free and irrevocable right and license to publish, print, edit or otherwise use the contestant’s submitted entry, in whole or in part, for any purpose and in any manner or media (including, without limitation, the Internet) throughout the world in perpetuity, and to license others to do so, all without limitation or further compensation.
